Deadly Price

"No!!" Astra screamed as the nymphets seized her and dragged her toward a whirlpool at the bottom of the river. "Damn you water things! I demand a trial by combat!"

Astra was hurled into the whirlpool and was sucked down through a dangerous passageway and emerged at the bottom of a massive underground cave. Luminescent cave-fish showed a scene from Astra's worst nightmares as the cave floor was littered with countless bones of human and humanoid creatures. Suddenly a massive shadow fell upon her. Turning around Astra saw a gigantic monstrous aquatic beast many times her size. It had massive tentacles, lobster-like legs and other appendages. In fact, Astra had no idea what to compare it to, but it looked pretty grotesque.

"Foodz! Gimme!!" the monster hollered. "I shall feast upon your soul for all eternity!!"

It slashed at Astra with a massive razor-sharp claw, she ducked out of the way and grabbed a rusted short sword that lay among the bones of slain adventurers. "I am not your dinner, you violent beast! You wont snack on me so easily - at least, not without a bad case of indigestion!"

"That makes no sense!" the deadly god of the water nymphs howled. "I AM A GOD!! WORSHIP ME!! GET IN MY STOMACH NAO!!!"

The combatants met and clashed...

1. Astra emerges victorious.
2. The deadly God of the deep is triumphant.
3. Astra realizes that deep inside this monstrous body is trapped a little boy or something that never recieved enough love or attention as a kid, and calmly proceeds to psychoanalyze the creature to find the root of its inner torment.
