The Dark Stream

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 73121

Properly repentant over his lack of hygiene, Fred moves to the tiny stream that burbles from the hole in the wall below the runes. In the strange, lilac-tinted light of the magical lettering, the stream looks unnaturally dark, but, being the adventurous sort that he is, Fred dips his hands in without a second thought.

Immediately, Fred regrets his impulsive decision as he quickly discovers the water to be both thicker and stickier than water should be. He recoils, pulling his hands away from the offensive font, only to discover that his hands are now covered in the dark and viscous fluid, every inch of the skin hidden by the unknown muck!

  1. Fred wipes his hands furiously on his trousers!
  2. Fred runs around the room in a panic, waving his arms wildly while yelling "Icky, icky, icky, icky!"
  3. Fred controls his revulsion and examines his muck-covered hands a little more closely.
