Tequila Mockingbird

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 72227

Astra, now dressed in a bikini, sat on a towel at a beach sipping tequila. She can't quite remember how she got from the staircase room to here, nor does she know how she knows what tequila and bikinis. The beach is loud and crowded, the exact opposite of the place she'd left, but Astra felt just as lost here. She is about to close her eyes and start savoring the sea breeze when

  1. A tall, imposing, unpleasant-looking man in a business suit looms over her and clears her throat. "So you're on time," he says. "Good."
  2. She glimpses another woman walking furtively through the beach. She seems out of place somehow, and Astra wonders whether she's not also from another world.
  3. She wakes up, wondering why she's had such strange dreams lately.
