The Never Ending Quest - Episode 72146

Astra put on some clothes. She did not bother with the uncomfortable- looking corset. She did put on a slip, a dress, some stockings, and some rather inconvenient boots that were in the mode of those worn around 1890. And she did induldge herself in the luxury of a blue floral bonnet.

There was a mirror on the inside door of the wardrobe. Her hair was a bit unruly - a comb would be nice, but the bonnet covered that problem nicely. She patted herself on her side, and felt something hard in her dress. There was a pocket sewn in it. She reached in a pulled out a book. She was able to understand the words, although the context did not make sense to her. As she read the words, there was a change in the room.

The words were ....

  1. The grand old Duke of York, he had ten thousand men....
  2. Sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye ...
  3. Hush little baby, don't say a word, poppa's going to buy you a mockingbird ...
  4. Tiger, tiger, burning bright ...
