The scrawny young lad became Belboz's trusted assistant. After several days of being called 'Hey, boy', the lad decided to choose his own name. Derf.
Belboz sighed. Maybe he should have spent some more time on the blob's intelligence roll. Anyway, Derf was welcome company in the dankness of the dragon's caves. But what was Belboz's PURPOSE in the caves?

  1. Nuetral expression of evil. All concentrations of negative energy, or good energy, drew a nuetral wizard to balance the scales.
  2. Belboz was a subtle servant of the dragon.
  3. The dragon was a subtle servant of Belboz.
  4. Belboz was the greatest of the White Mages, though he was barely keeping the dragon's evil in check, such as it is.
  5. Belboz was just nuts.
