Sure enough, a psychic projection of Zerm the Unspeakable appeared before
Astra. “Aww, Princess Astra,” the eerily lifelike
projection said delightfully. “So good to see you. My but you’re looking
stunning today! I say, have you got a haircut or something? You look
fantastic!” Astra rolled her eyes. Men...they were all the same. This is why she was a total lesbo. “Let’s just get down to business, can we?” she parried. Zerm arched an inquistive eyebrow. “Oh? So you’ve come around, then? Best decision you’ve ever made...if I might be so bold...”“Don’t fool yourself, Zerm,” Astra shot back. “I would never dream of becoming another one of your exhibits. You’re a sick man. But that’s beside the point. Does the name Robert Billingsley mean anything to you?” The arch wizard shrugged. “Some pathetic thug who managed to break into my citadel once, if I recall correctly. When one of my golems caught him he made such a pathetic fuss that I decided to spare him. I mean, he was crying like a little girl. A rare moment of softness by yours truly. To be honest I was just glad that it was he who discovered the weak spot in my defenses rather than one of my many, many, many formidable enemies.”Astra chuckled. “Ah, but you underestimated him, Zerm. You must have done a poor job of patting him down, because he didn’t leave your home empty-handed. Have you been a missing a certain goblet?” The wizard’s eyes widened. “The garishly gilded goblet of Gana! Of course! I noticed it had gone missing about two days later! That bastard! You know, it was part of a set! A set, Astra! Some people are so inconsiderate! Wow. I’m hurt, Astra. Emotionally. I’m afraid now I’m going to have to kill him or at least turn him into a newt. Where is he!? Is he with you!? Bring him to me, at once!”“Ah, ah, ah,” Astra chided him. “It’s not going to be that easy. First of all, you must release my Aunt from your vile clutches.
