Since none of the available items seemed at all suitable, Astra decided that she would call her mentor's bluff, and put on what was seemed to her to be the least appropriate outfit. Then he would surely be forced to offer her something better.

So she put on the nighdress. It was made of pink lace, and was frilly and diaphanous, as well as being very short with a low-cut neckline. Oddly enough, once she was wearing it she felt more naked rather than less.

She was disappointed that the Voice did not seem in the least put out by her choice. "Very well," it said.

  1. "You are due in Training Room 1. Don't keep your instructor waiting."
  2. "Make your way to the gymnasium for physical fitness training."
  3. "It's time for drill. Go out onto the parade ground."
  4. "Your first lesson will be in unarmed combat."
