Velus rejoins the party

Velus was missing the fur from both rear legs, had a gold hoop through the
tip of his tail and now had a prissy 'Three Kingdoms' accent and knew all
the works of 'Ruskspear'. He explains, in his new voice, how he was captured by Mind Muddling Mud- Gnomes while the other two were looking the other way. The gnomes were a foot high, dressed in all green and swore worse then anything Exotica ever heard. His own mind was muddled for a while and it didn not wear off until he was in their lair. They thought that Velus would be muddled for some time. But Velus had been transformed by magic and that intefered with the muddle-brain-blast enough for it wear off early. He sprang to his feet, knocked everyone willy nilly and escaped out of the garbage chute. It was a long, frictionless passage that sloped down for about thirty yards. The chute opened up over a nasty waterfall. How did he escape certain doom?
