The Never Ending Quest - Episode 69454

"Loneliness can't be all bad," Scott told himself for the millionth time*, right after he had brutally murdered both you and The Seeker. In the past thirty years** he had developed a habit of lecturing himself out loud. "I'm just new to it. I bet this would be fun if I'd been an only child."

He began to pace again, still feeling lonely, and making sure to sidestep the dead bodies in the room. He still didn't understand the comfortable teal sofas lining this room, or the boxed food in the corner, or the strangely inaccessible spiral staircase plunging through the ceiling and floor. He'd wondered a couple of bajillion times what he was doing here -- but who was counting?

( * ) By this time, it was well past the 978,694th time, and very well might have been the millionth time, but he wasn't keeping a close count.
( ** ) Yes. The first episode of Endless Perspectives (Addventure's Game 3) was posted on Monday, May 29th, 1995 at 9:14 AM local time. Thirty years ago next month. And how long have we been waiting for Game 4 to go live?

Scott sighed, shook his head, and...

  2. looked down the staircase, pondering how to get out.
  3. gets arrested for murder.
  4. decides to launch Addventure's Game 4 himself.
  5. calls up Prisoner. "Hey man, long time no chat!"
  6. finds himself elsewhere.
  7. finds himself more elsewhere.
