Josh was notorious for never picking up after himself as a teenager, and he would prefer to kick his shoes into a corner near the front door of the Burbank residence instead of putting them away in the closet. This was tolerated until one late evening.

Mrs. Burbank wasn't in the best mood, and the sight of Josh's shoes kicked haphazardly into the corner irked her. She picked them up and set them carefully in the hall closet.

The next morning, Josh was running late for school, which he fully intended to skip because his girlfriend Beth had invited him over to "watch movies" instead. He looked into the corner and he could not find his shoes. So after looking into the closet and spying his shoes arranged neatly on the shoe rack, Josh had another one of his patented freak outs.

Several expensive family heirlooms were broken, and Josh managed to beat the hell out of his younger brother Matt before order was restored. Josh also yelled something about being afraid of Lawrence Welk before he finally calmed down. He then put his shoes on, went out the door, and proceeded to his girlfriend Beth's place to "watch movies".
