A Long, Long Time Ago

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 68812

Fred and Chuck stare out the window in this bizarre new house. It did not lead to what had been outside of the building. It led to, as Chuck explained, a mighty herd of tyrannosaurus, mighty lizards who lived a long, long time ago in Chuck's time and dimension.
One of the smaller fanged beasties looked at Fred.
Running on instinct, Chuck and Fred slammed the window shut.
The beastie shook it's head and wandered off.
The two men put a bookcase in front of the window. Just in case Jurassic Park was right and the things operated on motion.
Fred wasn't sure if that all added up logically...but he couldn't do anything more about the situation.
Several hours passed.

  1. They found a strange ticking box.
  2. They found self-heating pies.
  3. They found an internet terminal.
  4. A monkey with a sword wandered by, it seemed not to notice either of them.
  5. Fred fell asleep standing up.
  6. Chuck got a phone call from his old high school science teacher, Mr. Exposition.
  7. Fred got a phone call and panicked because the metal box was speaking his name.
