Paula whistled when she came to the second photo. "Either this is the most brilliant hoax in history, or you've had an encounter - what's the expression? - of the third kind. No wonder you were so cagey. Your life wouldn't be worth living if the media were to get hold of this." Then she turned to the third photo, which Stacy herself hadn't yet lookred at, and her mouth dropped open. Stacy leaned over her shoulder and examined it.

  1. It was an interior shot. It showed Stacy striking a careless pose in front of what appeared to be the control panel of the alien craft.
  2. It showed Stacy standing next to her alien friend. The obvious question was: who had taken the photo?
  3. It showed the alien (or a different one) lying on the ground, unconscious or dead.
  4. It showed the (an?) alien and Paula! Apparently Stacy wasn't the only one with amnesia.
