My name to dragons is Minestus. My name to scholars and storytellers is the Great Red Dragon of the Southern (or Northern, depending on where you were from) caves. To my captives, I am master. To everyone else, I am simply The Dragon. Right now I stand before the beautiful princess Astra, and a young village boy named Velus. I recently killed Fredrigo D'Honaire, in an attempt to stop him from eventual position of ruler of the world. "Very well, then. I will not punish you. But be aware that my patience is running out." I tell them sternly. "Get out! Now! The other captives should instruct you on what to do." Velus, the teenager who seemed to be the key in changing the future, whimpered and immediately ran off. Astra followed, but more calmly. They don't understand what a fate I had saved them from. The Dragon had just started a thought diary as he was talking to Astra and Velus. A thought-diary is a diary which can be added to at any time by just thinking about adding to it. He continued: I suppose I should explain what happened. To piece it together simply is difficult, but I will try as best I can: In my first ever timeline, before I had ever attempted time travel, Fred came into the inner sanctum a few days later than he had in this, my second timeline. I am immortal, but what Fred managed to do was push me forward 50 years into the future with a very powerful time spell. What I saw in the future was absolutely horrible. Fred was the tyrannical and cruel leader of the world. When I first arrived in my cave that 50 years from now, it was no cave. It was just a barren land where in the middle of it lay a plaque that declared 'Here is where our divinely perfect ruler, Emperor Fred slayed the evil dragon on that fateful day.' Immediately, I turned to my human form and began walking to the nearest town. The nearest town was actually a depressingly huge city that was surrounded completely, with no gates, by tall stone walls. I wondered how I would get in to the massive fortress. I pondered turning to my dragon form and flying in, but it could cause too much of a scene. I didn't have to anyway, as soon I was found by... her. She was beautiful. Stunningly beautiful. More beautiful than Princess Astra; sure, Astra has nice breasts, but Akeala was so much more. I don't remember what she wore, but I remember her face. She had light mocha skin, dark green-emerald eyes, long brown hair, and the perfect smile. When she first noticed me, she gasped, and whispered, "Another outsider?". I stood there in shock too, and watched as she waved her hands and made an underground staircase, and she took me by the hand and took me into her home, where others lived. Then she and her sat by a table in privacy, and she said; "Who are you?" and I explained who I was and how I got here. We talked for hours. She was always interested, always intrigued. She told me that Fred was a horrible ruler who paid no attention to the deaths of the streets from a plague. Every human in the world was situated into one massive city that covers most of what Allaria is. Fred had also outlawed magic, and Akeala explained to me that they were a resistance group who wanted change, and that they knew basic magic. I asked her how Fred had actually became ruler, and then she explained that after Fred had got rid of me, he worked his way up through the knights and lords through even more quests, and eventually became second-in-command of the whole kingdom. When the King died, he had no heir and Fred became king. A powerful ruler, Fred managed to take over all neighbouring kingdoms and continents. Emperor Fred was greedy and harsh. He treated his wife, Astra badly, and there were stories that she had committed suicide after she took take no more. His laws are strict, and are only made to help himself. Fred was, by all means, evil. Akaela told me that her resistance group where working on a time-spell so that I could be sent back and kill Fred. So, I stayed with them for months, and my lust for Akaela resulted a night of passion, and turned to love. She was such a beautiful person for a human. Our child was born nine-months later. Akaela died in childbirth. Not long after, they found the time-spell and sent me back. When I returned to the past/present, I experimented by changing small things like moving things into different places. One thing I did was take the cake and put it on the other side of the table than it would normally go; Velus, one of my captives, ate two slices rather than one. As punishment, I turned him into a dog. I believe that in this size, he was able to escape through a hole in the wall where he met Fred. I think that in the first timeline, it took Fred much longer to find me because he was never found by Velus. In the first timeline, Fred for a few days explored the whole cavern and eventually met Belboz, a dirty necromancer who wants me dead, but has no magic-energy left so he can't use magic. Belboz told Fred how to find me and how to send me into the future. However, in this timeline, since Velus took him straight to Astra, and then up the stairs into my inner-sanctum, he never met Belboz. So, he made it here, I incinerated him into nothing but ashes, and prevented him from becoming king. When the Dragon had finished the diary, he used the leftover time-spell energy to go back 50 years into the future and see what had changed.
