Protective Measures

As soon as Astra touched the book, an icy blue orb surrounded him and Velus. Astra immediately tried to smash the orb with Fred's sword that he had given her [55], but it was no use at all. They were surrounded with some kind of forcefield.

"Hey! We can still breathe in here!" Velus said, trying to stay cheerful.

"I suppose this is a trap... If anyone touches one of his books, this 'forcefield' surrounds them... maybe there's a way to disarm it in this book..." Astra said, also trying to stay calm.

But Velus was not so optimistic after he noticed the orb was shrinking. "Uhh... Astra, better find something quick! The orb is shrinking!"

"I'm working on it!" She told him, but was not calm any more either.

1. The orb crushed them. But Velus was happy. At least he died with the hottest woman he had ever seen.
2. The orb crushed them, but it didn't kill them. It did something much, much worse.
3. Astra finds the spell to disarm the trap in the book.
4. Before the orb could crush them, the dragon appeared.
5. Before the orb could crush them, a captive appeared.
6. Before the orb could crush them, Chuck Norris appeared.
