The office was decorated in a rather unusual style for a corporate
building - it was lit only with candles and burning incense, and there
were human skulls, bizarre altars and strange objects covered in thick
fabric, as well as many leafy potted plants, so that the entire place
felt like a rainforest. A tiny hairless monkey shrieked at Astra,
startling her as she walked by. "You are about to meet the Munyamuna," Giorgio said. "You shall be respectful to her at all times, or I shall kill you where you stand." "Dont worry about me, its this Aqualarian cow you should concern yourself with," Berenice laughed. Astra only gritted her teeth and kept walking. They passed through a maze of hanging curtains and emerged in a small alcove. There was a desk in the center, and behind the desk sat a wizened old being dressed in elaborate flowing robes and a coiffed hat. Its face was covered in so many wrinkles, it was hard to tell it was a human being at all. "I have brought them as you commanded, Munyamuna." Giorgio said, falling to one knee. Astra and Berenice uncertainly did the same. "Mmnyaaanmmgghmngmu," the ancient creature said, its lips barely moving. "Mmmnggmanayunggmuu." "Munyamuna says, she was impressed with the fighting skills she saw you display," Giorgio said. "She says it reminds her of herself in her youth. She offers you both an advanced training program that will be much harder, but offers much greater rewards as well. What is your answer?" "I accept!" Berenice said. "But what about Fred, and Helen, and Berenice's dog?" Astra said. "Mihunnyanamu, anayamu." said the ancient creature, slightly raising its hand. "mmmnyamu." "Give no more thought to them," Giorgio said. "They are your inferiors, not even worthy of your acknowledgement. Now what is your answer?"
