"Never!" Berenice gasped.

What Astra might have done next will never be known for - alerted by the noise - two men who might have been clones of the formidable Giorgio appeared from around the corner. They were clearly guards or other members of staff. "It didn't take you two long to get into trouble," one of them observed. "All right," he addressed Astra, "get off her."

Remembering just how easily Giorgio had overcome her when she had attempted to fight him, Astra reluctantly obeyed. Berenice then climbed to her feet, attempting to adjust her bra - torn in the affray - so that it would cover her breasts once more.

1. "You'd both better come into the office," the man who had spoken before said. To the fury of all the other girls, he led the two round the corner of the corridor, past the head of the line, and into the office that they had all been waiting to enter.
2. "Fighting amongst trainees is a serious offence under paragraph 77h of your contracts," the man said. "Your punishment is to be on toilet cleaning duties for the next week."
3. "Fighting amongst trainees is a serious offence under paragraph 77h of your contracts," the man said. "You'll spend the next week in the slammer."
