"I'm on good terms with Candy at the moment," Pronklezilch went on. "I've
forgiven her for giving you to that stupid lordling back when you were
statues. [47951] Not that you'll remember having been statues. I don't
think that she'll be tempted to give you away again, though. You'll be
much more valuable to her as flesh and blood than you were as statues.
She'll be really surprised to see you once more, of course."
Being teleported to Madame Candida's Bawdy House some six miles away wasn't going to help Astra and Freda get their revenge on Pronklezilch, but they did not dare to protest. They were well aware by now of how easy it would be to provoke the wizard into doing something far more unpleasant to them. A part of their minds was already considering ways in which they might escape from the bawdy house. But another part in the background - weaker at the moment, but would it remain so? - was thinking: Oh, goodie! We'll be able to have so much fun with all those lovely men! A few moments later, the wizard completed his teleportation spell, and Freda and Astra found themselves in the lobby of the bawdy house.
