"Not me," the girl on the left said. "My mother wasn't posh like you. My name is Tawni. And these are my friends, Bambi and Trixi." She turned towards Vincent. "But who is this darling, handsome man?"

1. Vincent wondered whether he should put the girls under a sleep spell to give himself time to consider things, or should see whether he could learn anything useful from them.
2. It was obvious to Freda and Astra what must have happened, from what they had heard Pronklezilch say and from what they had been able to see over the CCMV of the three girls materialising next to Vincent.
