Crossing the Whirlpool

"But my clothes will get soaked," Jasper objected.

"Hah!" human Sara said. "Only you, Scott and Josh are wearing any worthwhile clothing. You don't expect any sympathy from the rest of us, do you?"

"I can't swim," Scott admitted.

"Nor can I," Countess Maria said.

"And we've no rope," Astra said. "All right, you'll have to hold onto me, Scott, and I'll tow you across. Be careful where you put your hands, though, or I'll let you drown. Diana, will you please do the same for Maria."

1. They all get across the pool safely.
2. Scott can't resist groping Astra, and pays the price.
3. Scott gropes Astra, but it turns out that he was lying when he claimed not to be able to swim, and he gets across perfectly safely after she dumps him.
4. To everyone's surprise, Maria can't resist groping Diana.
