They find the artifact easily enough. . . .
"What in the name of . . .?" Hilda mutters, having nearly tripped over a pile of black and gray rags in her search of the wizard's domecile. In actuality the "rags" are the shredded remains of the wizard's robes, kicked and clawed aside after Braveheart had awoken to his new form. He'd found the wretched remains of his bejewelled collar most uncomfortable so he'd been in a most hurried rush to be rid of he annoyance and be with those his heart called for, you know. So much in a hurry and haste had Braveheart had actually KICKED the pile of rags through the air into the next room, out of view of the Frost Giantesses! And as luck would have it, the mage had been busy with other things up until the time . According to Barnabas, this package is what he'd been tasked to retrieve. However, even though the wrapping on the item has not been broken, the giantesses are puzzled. "Why does it smell like ashes?" Hilda ask the facilitator, only to get back that he hadn't been told what he was retrieving. He was only to retrieve it. "I see," Gilda says in a neautral voice, not exactly sure what to make of it. Guess that's the way his kind does business, the famale giant sighs, putting it off as just something not important enough to risk their forms to here. As for asking too many questions might have saved them a few headaches (like they situation they'd landed in), but now it appears to be none too healthy. Too many personal questions might just forfiet their gods' given forms and they'd run too many risks at that tonight, thank YOU! If nothing else the power of the magic use who's transforming Barnabas into something else for having almost failed speaks of being cautious here. "Now we need to get OUT of here," Hilda mutters, looking hopefully down at Braveheart in the hopes that his presence will allow passage at least one more time. Then onto the point of delivery and . . . safety.
