The prisoners and so on

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 677

Several,larger knights on horseback join the supervision of the prisoners. Finally, blessedly, they are lead into a thin canyon. Twenty feet wide, twenty stories tall, the little wind there was in the desert was turned into a cool, refreshing breeze.
The canyon meandered on for about a mile, sometimes expanding and contracting, but never getting small then twenty feet. Once, they even got to go cross a stream. Of course, all the prisoners 'accidentally' fell so they could get a drink. Heh heh heh.
At the end of the canyon they were lead into a large, modern (but weird) building. It looked like a child had randomly glued all his blocks together, then kicked it a while.
The purpose of the building was...

  1. to free prisoners of the dragon. Josh and the others were let go. There was an 'underground prisoner line', unfortunately a lot of pretending to be slave drivers had and will be involved.
  2. sacrifices to Jeff, a dark god.
  3. fun! (Wha?)
  4. just a jail. Boring.
  5. brainwashing! Oh hell!
  6. portal time. Two by two the prisoners were thrown into random dimensional portals set about the building. Paulito and Josh landed in muck.
  7. unidentifiable. Weirdness was stacked upon weirdness.
  8. a way home. A magic pathway led all the 'prisoners' back to Allaria's capital city.
