Undo the Screws

Slowly and carefully Fred twists the hilt of his sword, slowly undoing each
screw until they drop out. Being very careful to catch each screw as it
fell. Finally the grill plate drops from the ceiling and Fred catches it
before it clatters to the floor. "Don't arouse suspicion" he thinks. Now
bracing himself against each wall of the bathroom, he carefully climbs up
and squeezes into the tiny ventilation shaft cut into the rock. It is just
wide enough for Fred to slide through. It veers off horizontally to the
East and West so makes for a great escape route out of that smelly
bathroom. Suddenly Fred hears Merkalov's footsteps approaching along the
corridor. QUICKLY! Get out of here!
