The Evil Shard
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 67615

The mirrored shard is stuck in Fred's leg. He tries to pull it free but to
no avail. It won't budge. Each time he yanks at it, he feels a strong wave
of nausea overwhelm him. Fred falls onto one knee (his good knee of
course)! Fred begins to hear whispering in his head. He's sure he is not
hearing the sound with his ears, although it appears to be coming from the
shard. Lots of whispering voices. Then suddenly one voice rings out above
all the others, "I am Merkalov the Sorcerer," it yells in a distressed
tone, "what have you done with my mirror"! He sounds quite upset. "You will
be punished for your insolence"!
