The Mirror Shrieks!
The Never Ending Quest - Episode 67605

Fred pulls his fingers from the mirror, and grasps the hilt of his Ice
Sword. As he does this, the mirror's inhabitants seem to recognize his
intentions and begin to shriek! A cacophony of shrieking joins and
intensifies as he draws his sword. His resolve is unshaken as he swings
the Ice Sword from behind his back in a wide arc over his head. The sword
comes crashing through the Whispering Mirror, and pieces and shards of
mirrored glass crash around the room and on the floor before him. The
shrieking is suddenly silenced! As the shards crash onto the floor, a piece
strikes Fred's leg and is lodged into his flesh. The mirror is destroyed.
He screams as the shard pierces his skin! He feels the same strange
tingling emanating from the wound on his leg.
