Qundarian Reveals the Truth

"Fred was suffering terribly," Astra said to the old man. "She laid the
knight to rest as an act of mercy. She told us that much."
"She killed him because she serves the dragon!" Qundarian shot at
Astra. "Have ye not realized it yet? She would eventually have done the
same to you and your other sister. She was the reason the knight became
poisoned in the first place, and when the poison didn't finish him, she
made another attempt." Astra shook her head. It was a lot to digest, but
she sensed that Qundarian was telling her the truth. Something had been
strange and disturbing about Belinda's behavior since Fred's death, and
Astra now realized that she didn't know her sister as she thought she did.
Poor Fred, she thought, imagining what Belinda must have put him through
in his final moments. And why did Belinda run away screaming in the way
that she had? Was she insane, or had the unusual old man had something to
do with it? "Belinda was successful," Astra said slowly to Qundarian. "In
part. Fred is dead, but my other sister and I are still very much alive.
We owe it to Fred to bring Belinda to justice."
"Do not worry of her," Qundarian replied with a wave of his wrinkled old
hand. "Now, she is more of a danger to herself than to you, but as I told
ye, before it is over, she will endure the wrath of her crimes. Ye may
meet her again eventually. We have other concerns now, however."
"We?" Astra echoed. "What do you mean?"
