"Do not worry, Princess," said Fred. "I will leave Velus to guard you." "An unarmed, naked farm-boy. What protection could he provide?" Velus looked a little hurt by Exotica's dismissive tone. "But I can hardly remain here to guard you and instead send Velus to destroy the dragon," Fred pointed out. "The only alternative would be for us to remain with you and to hope that sooner or later the dragon will pay you a visit. And that might take days or even weeks." Exotica replied:

1. "I suppose you're right. Go then, but please be as quick as you can."
2. "As it happens, the dragon told me he would be back later today to gloat. You and Velus can hide behind that rock over there."
3. "Let Velus go find those whom the dragon has transformed. Now he can speak, he can say the magic words to turn them back. They can form an army against the dragon."
