The Never Ending Quest - Episode 225

(For those just joining us: Fred has quested into the dragon's caves to kill the dragon. He has met a human in the body of a dog. He has met a warrior woman named Astra. Her chains can only be busted by the death of the dragon. Continuing on, he's met the daughter of the king, Princess Exotica, who knows the words to restore the human/dog and the other humans turned into animals. Unfortunately, no one really knows how to break the chains and the princess' voice had been stolen. Exotica traces out the magic words with her feet and Fred reads them. Velus is changed to his rightful (but naked) form of a teenage boy. Exotica is still chained to the wall and suprisingly, fortunately, her voice has returned. Whew!)

"Lord Fred!" Exotica blurted out. "So my father sent the best warrior he had! Thank goodness! Can you get me out of here? Please? I know a little magic, don't tell anyone, but my spells aren't powerful enough to break the chains."
Fred realized Exotica was a bit hysterical. And why not? The dragon was capable of a lot, even if he didn't kill as a matter of course.
"My lady." said Fred, bowing. "I have encountered others who say the dragon's death is what is needed to destroy your bonds. Do not worry. I shall come back for you and the others once the dragon is free."
"No!" Exotica said.

  1. Exotica orders Fred to stay.
  2. Exotica reluctantly agrees.
  3. Fred realizes leaving a naked maiden chained to the wall is not such a good idea, even if she does know magic.
