Exotica stood in front of Fred, completely naked once again, and
slowly raised her hand to her
throat. "Is," she said with a slight hesitation. She smiled at the way it
came out of her mouth. "This,"
she said, happy at the sound of her voice. "See, so, had, eyes, that," and
on and on and on she continued,
faster and faster, throwing out all the words she could think of that her
now missing accent had made her
mispronounce so horribly. At the end of it she shouted with joy, "I'm
cured!"
"And you're still butt naked," Fred commented wryly. "Don't be crude," Exotica admonished him. She then turned around and saw the duster. "Egads, but this place is a mess. It really does need a good washing." And with that she began to dust everything in sight. Fred dropped his head into his hands. The princess was still enchanted. "But Princess Exotica!" he cried out and grabbed her by the shoulder. "You didn't get rid of the cleaning compulsion!" Exotica stared up into Fred's eyes, startled at his rough outburst. And then it sunk in. She looked at the dirty rocks in front of her and then at the feather duster in her hand. Her eyes began to well up. This was just too much. Would she ever be free of her own miscast magic? Damn her arcane spellcasting! It never got her anything but trouble. Her frustration rising to a fever pitch, Exotica suddenly screamed, "Oh (EXPLETIVE DELETED)!!!" And then Exotica suddenly found herself completely clothed, and in perfect adventuring garb too! "Huh, maybe I should have tried that particular phrase earlier," she mumbled quietly. Fred just stared at her, his jaw hanging from his head. It wasn't the fact that her magic had worked this time, it was rather the language she had used. Exotica was the daughter of King Emry after all. But damn, she had the mouth of a sailor, and a really crude sailor at that. "What are you looking at," Exotica eyed Fred meanly. "We've got a Dragon to kill, and I don't know about you but the sooner we get it done the happier I will be. Oh, and if you ever tell my father what I just said you can kiss your dragon-slayer reward goodbye. Understand?" Fred nodded mutely and followed the princess as she continued up the passage.
