"You may go in to see her, if you like." Shard and Nerozi walked through the double doors quickly, with Fred and Astra following. However, Fred was stopped just as Astra entered.

"Sorry, only three visitors allowed at once." The man in blue said, stopping Fred from entering.

Fred almost lost his cool, but managed to bite his tongue. "Would thy good sir be willing to make an exception this time?" Fred asked, desperately.

"No. However, you can answer some questions with me." The man in blue, a 'doctor' pulled out a notepad. "What is your full name?"

"Frederigo D'Honaire."

"Fred Dehoner, right? Ok. What is the name of the injured?"

"She is the fair princess Exotica!"

"Her real name, sir."

Fred realized that this strange world did not have princesses. "Her name is Exotica... Thompson. She is a baker." He replied, hoping bakers existed here.

"How was she injured?"

"M'lady Exotica was attacked by a fearsome dragon!"

"WHAT!?"

Fred remembered what the lady in the hospital said when he and Astra entered 'More from the D&D convention, huh?' . "She was injured by a dragon at the D&D convention. They had a very bad fight."

The doctor nodded, and noticed a red-haired beauty leaving the room Exotica was resting in. "Fred!" She called out, "Go see Exotica! There's something wrong!" Fred ran through the doors, and found out...

1. Exotica had lost her memory. She thought she was now Exotica Thompson, a humble baker.
2. She could no longer cast magic.
