Captain Lock was lucky, as the blow was very light. Any harder, he might have been in trouble. As it was, he awoke a few minutes later, being dragged feet first across a field of tired, worn-out corn.
Whatever was dragging him wore a purple hood and cape. Locke also noticed something strange. Outside on the trails and roads leading to the house, the air and weather had been somewhat nippy. Here, being dragged across the fields, it was humid and wet. Now Locke didn't consider himself a genius, but something about this funny change of weather just wasn't quite right. What does Locke do now?
