Stacy's hands began to shake. This was terrible. It was appalling. She
checked the equations over once again, but it was clear there was no
mistake. These pages spelled out, clearly and elegantly, a simple recipe
for making an insanely deadly weapon: an antimatter bomb. Could she
possibly have come up with something this horrible? Was this why
she had lost her memory? To block out this awful thing she had invented?
Or had her moemory been taken from her, to prevent her from spreading this
knowledge? She wasn't sure which possibility was worse. Stacy took a deep breath. Hold on a minute, she thought. Don't over-react. You haven't necessarily done anything that bad. These plans needn't be used to make a bomb. They could be put to peaceful use. Imagine what a revolutionary energy source this would make... in the right hands. And that, of course, was the rub.
