The guard walk past Fred. Fred is relieved, turns back into human form and starts doing a dance out of joy. He accidentally kicks some of the metal machinery and the guard turns around.
The warty guard immediately pulls a lever. A hole in the ground opens, which appears to be containing:

  4. A remote control with a big red button
