I just hope that we don't have to make like some kind of Mafia like "mechanics" and "whack" Rei here to fix things!!

Frankly . . . I'd like to be able to look at myself in the mirror in the morning, as the old saying goes. Don't think I'd like to do what could be . . . so cold blooded.

Moments later . . .

Hunt! Fight! Protect. . .Shingi within.

Must find and destroy Angels . . .!

Wa-wait, something is not . . . right here?

Back just moments ago I had just completed the hunt. Found my target with my senses, an Angel which was perhaps the MOST different of all these variformed VERMIN to date! If it was NOT for the fact that he stood a bit taller than me, ME who dwells within Unit 001 . . . Stupid! Even IF he does have similar features to that other Eva pilot . . . who happens to be a modified clone of ME (as I had planned along with Gendo . . . just in case it should be needed for making * Instrumentality come to be, under OUR design).

Imagine! If he'd been human size then God only knows what kind of mischief and mayhem could have come of THAT!

If he should look human in all ways except size, then there really is no point to it, right? It would just be a waste of time and effort, having a human appearing giant walking around . . . no matter just HOW friendly his reception of me flying down AT him had been!!

Best to finish him off and put him OUT of his misery with the palette gun NERV sent up by the lift to the surface for me and . . .

"Rei . . . why?" the human appearing Angel whispers, looking up at me with saddened and betrayed eyes.

Oh God . . . my head's spinning again and . . .

Now is the time for all good men (and women) to come to there senses.

The delusions passes and phantom cityscapes disappear, leaving behind the scene of a smashed up car with VERY dead Nerv agents hanging out on the hood of their vehicle.

A very bad automobile accident had happened here whilst the goons had been transporting their special . . . charge to the general outskirts of Tokyo 3.

They'd had a rather unfortunate (and unexpected) encounter with some livestock. It was dead (broken neck, instant death) and the human escorts had also died swiftly (not that their charge really actually . . . .missed them). He'd survived, unscratched.

AT fields. Got to love 'em.

His cover name is Kaworu Nagisa (http://en. wikipedia. org/wik i/Kaworu_ Nagisa) but his real name is Tadris (http://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/ Angel_% 28Neon_ Genesis_ Evangelion %29 #Tabris). He'd come a bit earlier, to stage himself for HIS efforts into getting into NERV HQ (and eventually bring about Third Impact).

He'd been pleasantly surprised to see one similar to himself (Rei) come to him, apparently having somehow come into her own (on her own). Delighted, he greeted her like a man welcoming a long lost kin into the family . . . and Rei (who'd been having what could only be describe on a VERY bad "trip" from magical side effects) ran him through with a makeshift spear from her capsule, acting JUST like the Eva Unit she thought she was (in a "berserk" mode, allowing her to "pilot" herself without inputs from the normal pilot within). Having thought he'd been perfectly safe . . . he did not have his AT field up and afterwards had been in too much shock and agony to raise it as the beserking Rei pounded the living #$%#$ out of him.

Adrenaline (or whatever the Angelic equivalent could be) mixed with madness (temporary or otherwise) is an amazing (and frightening) thing....

Suddenly coming out of it (and shellshocked from . . . certain revelations whilst acting out the part of certain OTHERS), she blinks slowly and stares at Tadris and the handgun garnered from one of the dead escorts, aghast.

Her eyes tell her one things (a human being) lays before her and her memories tell her SHE is the one who did this . . .

But her newly awaken Angelic senses tell her that while human appearing . . . this is NOT a human being.

VERY conflicted and confused our Rei is. Emotionally in a turmoil, our young one is...
