Nuetral Ground

To the left was sheerest obsidian. The path curved wildly and thus the three did not see what was at the end until they were three feet away.

A large marble-lined archway had been built into the natural formations. Ivy curled around the rocks. Above the arch was a large, wooden sign with white letters. It spelled out 'Nuetral Ground'. Somebody had spent some time carving the letters. Right inside the passageway was a podium. At the podium was a man with a black suit and a towel over his head. He looked the three over and did not startle, amazingly enough at Astra's nakedness.

"Shall it be three tonight?" the man asked.
"Three?" said Fred. "I am afraid you have me at a loss."
The man's cheeks reddened ever so slightly. "Oh, please do forgive me. I had forgotten not all travelers understand the nature of this facillity."
"Which would be...?" Astra prompted.
The man straightened farther, a feat Fred would have thought impossible. "As you may or may not know, many, many battles between the forces of evil and the forces of good happen on our world. This little out of the way place is nuetral ground for the opposing forces. One may not battle an enemy in here, though one may buy him a drink. One may not solicit information, allies or weapons here. This is nuetral ground and it will be enforced."
Fred pondered this quickly. "Surely, the number of quests that pass through this path is not enough to support a business such as yours?"
"Oh, of course not." said the man. "That's why the Nuetral Ground is everywhere. You only have to be on a quest and go out of your way. It's always out of the way."
Fred looked at Astra. They silently communicated the same thought to each other. This is too weird.

1. Enter "Nuetral Ground".
2. Turn around and leave.
3. Question the man further.
4. A horde of arrow firing Harpies rises from the gorge and attacks!
