The Deep Magicks Amok...

There are so many things to do still, so many things to see.

Cannot say that what I and my love have seen thus far was dull but would LIKE to see some sights in a more . . . normal matter. Well, we shall see what shall come after we finish up with Fifi and Bambi, of course (who wish to continue on, despite the fact we ALL know now that the teleporter is more scrambled than we first believed . . .

Cannot really fault them, whatever the case. When I had asked who this rogue amazonian queen was (analog wise), some of the group had blanched a little bit before admitting . . .

. . .

Lovely. So this queen that Fifi and Bambi shall eventually go back to fight is an evil twin sister (analog or not).

Do believe that one of my human sisters met another version of that queen on the field of battle (and killed her). The worry here is that if I should meet an evil analog (and that analog is this Queen Hela) I believe that it could turn out . . . oh how to say it, bad? I may end up from what I understand of dopplegangerism so wrapped up in the idea of attacking and killing my evil twin that I could get the others dragged into a fight that they cannot hope to win.

Let us just hope that the final few stops in this Quest go smoothly and I will not do something (or my elfin sister) that we shall regret.

Then again, who is to say that this queen invading Fifi's Allaria is an analog of me? It remains to be seen and I may be borrowing trouble...

Of course, I should know better to ignore my feelings of impending trouble.

"I have a bad feeling about this," I hear my sister mutter to herself and see the other elves not looking too comfortable right before our next teleportation into the unknown.

We materialize elsewhere and cries of pain from behind me alert me that not all is well!

Looking at the source I see that something magical appears to be happening to not only Fifi and Bambi . . . .but some other young girls (by the sounds of their shouts of pain) as well!! All of them are blocked from view, their bodies outlines barely visable behind a curtain of magical sparks (somewhat akin to the same song and dance that happens to US when we were swept up by that last transmat)...

Though the later (whatever exactly the shimmering curtain is doing to them) seems to be further along with that later group...

The fact that there is some kind of gaslamp lit and burning a gentle (enclosed) flame in the middle of an obviously dense woods is besides the point!! Hardly matters right now to the girls, I am SURE!!

They seem to be . . .growing in size and shape?

1. Things then get REALLY strange when a LARGE talking lion shows up . . .with a slightly bemused look in his noble features.
