"Where there is death, there is a dragon," Fred said. "We go left."
As they taversed the passage, they could start to smell a foul reek. "Ugh, what is that horrible smell?" Edward asked. "If I had to place a wager," Fred started, "I'd bet all my money on dragon droppings." "It's horrible! I don't know how we will fight with that odor over us." "Do not worry. Dragons don't poop where they sleep." That's what Fred hoped, at least. He could feel themselves getting closer to the dragon and the end of their quest. The end of the tunnel opened up into a huge cavern. The two heroes could hear a grumbling sound, as if someone was mumbling in their sleep. Neither of them dared to speak for fear of waking the dragon. They could see the torch light glinting off of something in the distance. "Dragon treasure!" Fred thought to himself. "Enough to buy the world!" The sight of the treasure added a new feeling of anxiousness to Fred's growing repertoire of emotions. He knew that if he slayed the dragon the previous owners of this wealth would want it back, yet it should be his by right of conquest. He knew that this treasure would bring a whole new bunch of problems once the dragon is dead. Once the dragon is dead... Fred has never even seen a dragon before. He doesn't know why he should be expected to know how to kill one. He touched the hilt of the sword he found in the doppleganer's lair. A shock of electricity shot through his hand and he almost cried out in pain. "What was that?" He thought to himself.
