Outside the lair was a very odd sight. A centaur, asleep on his feet (it
was a skill about ten percent of centaurs had). He was a small centaur, with thick, ropy muscles on his human part and smooth running flanks, his horse part colored grey and brown in seemingly random swirls. The dagger shows this centaur to be, well, not a doppleganger. But to wake him? Fred had never quite understood what to do with people asleep, there had been something a friend of a friend said about not waking sleepwalkers. But this centaur was not sleepwalking... Fred pondered. A centaur would be useful in the caves, for natural magic allowed centaurs to fit in any spot a normal man could.
