While some are catching up. . .

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 60197

Yes, by all means Inquirer and AK-47 wish to "Catch up on things and all that..."

But what of the other players of this piece, eh? What have they been doing while all this has been going on?

Eh, well . . . Let us see, eh?

Earlier, on a swampy little speck of a world, well away from the normal trade routes of the galaxy...

Like many of those out there sensitive to the ways of the Force, the small alien male known as Yoda feels the disturbance within it which marks the entrance of the Champions into this reality. Like Obi Wan Kenobi it is quiet a jolt. However, being that: 1) it is mid morning on the planet he is upon, 2) Yoda, though old did not sleep in late this day, and 3) that all said and since he had been in the middle of a meal . . . breakfast to be exact . . .

The disturbance in the Force is MORE than enough to actually pick up the poor unfortunate Jedi Master (quiet unexpectedly) and . . .

. . .

It is enough for our little green Jedi Master to end up smashing himself (and the bowl of root stew) into the nearby wall. Knocked for quiet loop (and his now rather rumpled up robes covered in stew) the green old guy passes out from the shock of it all . . .

. . .

And dreams dreams. Somewhat like what Luke Skywalker experiece with his brush with Game 3 but not. In this case, since he's not actually getting swept into the chaotic realms of Game 3 like our young Skywalker, instead it is rather like . . .

Well, he's more than a bit put off finding himself in some odd place with a bunch of seats in rows facing some rather big cloth . . . screen of some type. Finding no ways out (and finding the doors out resistant to both Force manipulations and even his lightsaber), he turns and finds . . . something of a holo-drama has begun.

Granted, he cannot read the yawning opening introduction (yellow alien lettering on a black backdrop with stars), but somehow . . . it sends a shiver up his spine.

Soon, he finds himself (for want of a better term) mesmorized as he sees events and people . . . he knows he shall . . .

Basically, bottom line is that our old but distinguished Jedi Master Yoda here is seeing the events of what his life and the galaxy he calls home unfold before him. Or should I say the future events...

Yep, you guessed it! We have Yoda seeing the Earthern movies (yes, pural) called Star Wars. Episodes 3 through 5 to be exact....

The fact that he sees himself die up on the is not as disconcerting as it may have been for others out there. The fellow knows very well that while he is powerful with the Force as he is, he isn't powerful enough to avoid dieing AND he knows that soon enough he . . . shall die. Soon enough, he knows that he shall die. It is just the nature of things and he's mature enough (and seen enough) to know this!

Yes, it is heartening enough (if weird) to see that (if only on this strange screen) that the Emperor will be put down . . . .

. . .

Actually, none of that actually happens. Oh, Yoda DOES have some flashes of future events . . . but it is all jumbled and murky. Cannot make heard or tails of it in the unconscious state he's in. Now, if he was AWAKE and alert . . .

But he isn't so it's all a frustrating jumble when he wakes up with a groan to a throbbing headache.

He starts rather badly when he finds he has company in the form of one Luke Skywalker . . .

  1. "Thank the Force that you're awake!" the young man blinks, clearly upset at what he had come upon. "Master Yoda, for a while there I thought you would be lost . . ."
