When Fred came over the moat's bridge, he was surprised to find Astra and
Velus still at the doorway. They weren't even preparing to enter.
Instead, they were resting on the marble steps. He could hear Astra
talking to Velus about something while Velus didn't appear to be paying
any attention. Apparently, he still hadn't gotten over the pleasures of
having a naked woman in company.
"Oh, hello Fred. I thought you were leaving." Astra said as he walked up to them. She spoke in an odd sly tone. "You won't believe it." Fred raged. Remember that hedge maze we'd gone through? It's changed! The entrance no longer goes straight through the maze. Instead, it heads right into the maze. I-" He stopped erupted when he heard a soft giggling. "You planned this." Fred said bewildered. "You knew that when we got to the front doors of Exotica's castle, there would be no turning back."Astra smiled triumphantly and stood up. "Yes Fred, you're correct." "You…you self centered bitch!" Fred shrieked, unable to control himself. He pulled out his sword and lunged it straight at Astra. An index finger. That's how far the blade was from Astra's neck when Fred's arm was extended all of the way. "You had better find a way to get me out of here or I will spill your blood upon these very rocks!"Astra's face went ghostly pale. Slowly, she began to speak very softly. "Fred…please…get a hold of yourself. This is all part of Exotica's magic. She's forcing you against us. Please, just put the sword down. If you give in to her magic, none of us will make it out of here. Please Fred, please. However, it didn't look as though he were going to cease.
