Saved By the Phone

You can't hear what he's saying but his body language shows he's obviously upset about something. When he finally finishes his call, he flips the phone cover down so hard you are surprised he didn't damage it.

Storming off the beach, he's obviously roiled up enough to forgot Astra's existence. Once he's out of sight, the genie reappears again.

"Sandy Carlisle!" you suddenly blurt out, reddening as Astra and the genie stare at you. "Sorry, it's just come to me who that man might have mistaken you for."

"Who is this woman?" Astra queries.

Unfortunately, that was all you could recall, at least for the moment. The genie disappears briefly before reappearing with what looked like a printout from the internet which he hands to you.

"'Sandy Carlisle, age 22. Born Sydney, Australia on the third of March, 1984'" you read. You compare the picture of Sandy's face provided with Astra and whistle at the resemblence.

"Can I have a look?" Astra asks.

You hand it over and she gasps. "The hair colour - it's the only thing that's different. How's that possible?"

"It's very possible," the genie tells her. "In fact, it's believed that everyone born in one dimension has a double in another - well, all dimensions that have humans in them," he corrected himself.

"Right..." Astra says. She doesn't sound too convinced. Changing tack, she says...

1. "So who was he, and what does he do?"
2. "What's this festival that man mentioned?"
3. while looking at the paper she's holding, "What's a movie?"
