The attempt is a success, however....

Unfortunately, the attempt did not go unnoticed by Fred's captors to be blunt about it. While subtle enough for most opponents, alas our new demifox magic user shall learn that the people we know as "kitsune" can turn the word "subtle" into an a rarified art form.

That and Synizn had the unfortunate luck of attempting this trick while Lady Akira (the kitsune female who's causing so much mischief) is magically examining the unconscious Fred, measuring him up for the best . . . subtle alterations (shall we say). Oh, she knows that in the end the changes made will NOT be done by her but her deity. However, having an appropriate . . . image in mind whilst praying brings about the best results, she has found.

Being what she is and what she feels is at stake, she's rather committed at getting the best results! Being that she knows her husband's tastes . . . she believes she has a pretty good handle on it.

That said. . .

Besides, while her servants are running about buying (or stealing) this and that for this ritual, it was something to pass the time.

She had just been creating a rather stunning image of a female demifox dressed in . . . but that is not important right now.

"Mrrmph?" the kitsune blinks, losing concentration and allowing the image to evaporate into thin air. "Someone would dare attempt a spying upon me?"

Actually, besides being slightly annoyed she is also impressed by whoever just did this. Not only did whoever is attempting to spy upon her been able to bypass the hotel's magical wards, but her own wards as well!! Oh, she would have noticed the intrusion but not . . .quiet as quickly as she had . . . what with the scrying spell the intruding mage is using being focused on the very demifox male SHE had been examining for . . . alterations.

And now, that she'd detected the scryings? Why, she had plenty of time to prepare a . . . proper greetings if/when the intruding mage should attempt something. What, she was curious, but whatever it was . . . would involve her latest catch!
