not a crime. If she tried to gloss over the events leading up to the blow
to her head then wouldn't that tend to suggest to the davar that
she had something to hide? The man seemed too sharp to be easily fooled.
So she told him everything that she could remember, mentioning the fact
that she was an expert swordswoman to explain her challenge to Gog.
