What kind of "something" you ask? Do you REALLY need to ask something like that or are you . . .?

Nevermind. Let us just say that it is the THIRD round of that stuff and our as of yet unnamed kitsune female is rather happy with her latest catch!!

Then, smiling a small and satified smile as the still amnesia suffering Fred sleeps off this latest effort, she frowns and blinks as she turns away and finds . . .

A message sitting on the nightstand of her room, with a single flower laying upon the top?

She hadn't heard anyone enter her room (even when most distracted with . . . pleasantries) but when it registers just what kind of flower is laying upon that as of yet unread letter: the mystical Silver Moon lotus. Not only is it a magical flower only found within the spirit realms back home, on the Courtside of reality, but it is the personal sign . . . of her husband!

A messanger has been sent and she knows . . . that her husband knows of her actions whilst away from his side. Not quiet a thrown down gauntlet, no. Rather, however it IS a means to put her on notice.

Quickly stiffling a curse, she leaps over and scans throw the letter (written on vellum in an elegant hand). The exact contents are pretty much summed up as the husband is soon coming to Walants and there shall be SOME kind of inquiry into her actions (over her infidelity).

Kitsune society is a vast maze of social customs and such, but this is one blot on her up to now pristine record that she does not want. She could (shudder) even lose a tail over this!!

Looking over at the sleeping male . . .

Or. . . or could even be a means to come out ahead!

Long ago she had decided that this male was good enough to be . . . converted over so that he later on could be a even more acceptable side . . . companion on the side whilst hubby is away. Perfectly acceptable, it would have been then.

Not now, as he is IF discovered . . . . as he is (er . . .and when they DID what they did).

HowEVER . . .if perhaps when the husband finally DOES come and this male demifox is presented as . . .

Hm . . .

Going over to the traveling alter, she muses aloud to her self on what to do.

"I was going to pray to Lord for a regular shift after placing you over besides the alter," she sighs. "However, now . . .?"

See, her diety is known in some circles as Inari and that particular god often appears as an old man, carrying a sack of rice, however, Inari also frequently appears as a woman.

THAT had lead to some . . . confusion within the Celestrial Courts for the longest time (which is STILL acceptable, but she prefers . . . never mind).

What is being said that if certain spices and incenses are shifted around and changed during the prayer . . . IF the conversion is granted then when the husband and the inquiry board finally does make the scene . . .

Instead of an adulteress male demifox being there at her side (for he MUST be there at her side, a loss of face on both parties would entail if that should befall her . . . .the board does not broach being summoned with no shows well at all) . . .

What about a "present" to her husband, as either a pretty little kitsune female "servant" (who HE might dally with from time to time . . . as would she . . . though males are more . . .fun). Or perhaps as even yet another wife all together?

That last . . . might be interesting. . .

But it is going to take time to reset up for this ritual, and so she better get her servants in on this and gathering up the necessary materials in this rather . . . interesting and intriguing Western town.

Meanwhile, back at Astra's rooms something suddenly makes the hair on Astra's neck stand up on end. Something wicked is going to happen soon, she feels.
