“Are you sure about this?” Fred asked her, hoping that she would change her
mind.
“Yes! Now quit babbling and get me down from here!” She was obviously losing her patience, so Fred against asking who “They” were right now.He circled the tree Astra was suspended on and found a branch low enough for him to grab onto. After taking off some of his armor, he pulled himself up on the branch, then, using another branch above him for support, stood up and began pulling himself up onto the next branch. He did this all the way up until he was on top on the very branch Astra hung from. Keeping his balance, he unsheathed his sword and looked down at Astra. “This is your final chance your highness. We could still think of something else.”“Just cut it!” she said, giving an exasperated groan. Fred sighed. He prayed to God that she be all right. After giving her one last look, he began to cut the rope.
