This is all very interesting, the three companions heard the
dragon's voice say within their heads, but Fred and Astra need a good
night's rest before what will no doubt be a tiring day for them tomorrow.
So they should go back to bed and Seamus will kindly refrain from any
further singing that might disturb them.
Wondering whether Seamus's inability to see magical illusions would also mean that he would be unable to hear the dragon, Astra relayed the message. "Yon dragon's a right spoilsport," was the ghost's reply. "But he has no power over me." That is true. Magic has no power over ghosts. But if he makes it necessary, I can bespell Fred, Astra and Velus so that they can no longer see or hear him. However I would prefer to minimise the magic that I perform whilst they are in this land, since there is some risk that it might be detected. When Astra had passed on this message, Seamus responded:
