Astra, Alexis and Robert had stared as the vixen morph that Fred had become ran across the surface of the water for about ten paces before fading away into invisibility. She definitely hadn't sunk.

"A neat trick that, if you can do it," Alexis muttered.

"So now I've got you two lovely ladies all to myself," Robert said with a leer.

"Watch your step, if you don't want your left eye blackened to match the right," Astra told him. Robert had just enough sense to fall silent.

A minute or two later:

  1. Fred reappeared. [The target episode of this option probably should be linked to via option 1 of 58102.]
  2. They sighted land on the horizon.
  3. The raft began to sink, in spite of Astra's protests that Archimedes' Principle meant that this was impossible.
