The Never Ending Quest - Episode 56893

An incredibly loud bark shook the walls of the town hall. Fred sprinted out of the room, back across the lobby and outside. Wrapping the borrowed wizard's robe morm firmly around her, Astra followed. There they found that Velus, though still a dog, was now the size of a horse.

"I'm sorry," the wizard - who was standing next to Velus - said. "I attempted to restore him to normal, but the spell that the dragon used was evidently more complex than I had thought. I'm not sure that I dare try again."

"Poor Velus," Astra said sympathetically. "I thought for a moment - till you explained - that I must still be delusional."

"Well at least he'll be able to give us a ride home," Fred pointed out. "It would have been a very long walk, especially for you. And it's lucky that the dragon's spell on you didn't have any similar hidden complexities to interact with the wizard's curing of you."

  1. "True," Astra replied.
  2. "I'm afraid that's not the case," Astra said. "But it's a slow change. It wasn't obvious at first, but it's becoming more so all the time. Haven't you noticed yet?"
