I think that the dragon must have interfered with my mind, so that I would better adjust to being one of his servants. He did that sort of thing quite a lot."

"The fiend! So was it seen as proper for girls to walk around neked inside the caves then?"

"Yes. The dragon liked his young, attractive, female servants - and all his female servants were young and attractive - to be naked. Since you managed to escape right after he caught you and turned you into a dog, you might not have realised that. Princess Astra would have been his newest servant, once he had got her to accept that that would be preferable to being his prisoner... But you never answered my question."

"Er, what was it, again?"

"Is it proper for a girl to walk around naked outside the caves?"

"Well, not really. But it's no less proper to do that than to sit naked by the fire. And it's not as though there's anyone else around apart from us five."
