"Oh, I'm terribly sorry!" Velus blurted. "I didn't mean to... I mean, I
should have realised..." Nixy smiled and waved her hand. "Don't worry about it. I think I'll go for a walk though, until you've finished eating." "Oh," Velus said. "Um... I could come with you? I mean if you don't want to be alone in the night... I mean there could be dangers. Of course if you'd rather be alone I understand!" Nixys' smile widened. "Thank you, it would feel good to have some company." Velus face locked into a silly grin. Nixy started to stand up and then stopped, looking down at herself. "Oh dear. I forgot that I lost my blanket to those trolls. What should I do now? It can't be proper for a girl to walk around naked outside the caves, can it?" Velus was a bit surprised by the question. Had she lived her entire life in the caves? And was it proper for girls to walk around naked inside the caves then? And if so, why hadn't he seen any of them?
