“Now maybe the curse is done with” said Fred, with obvious doubt in his
voice. ”Wanna beth?” Exotica said, a combination of anger, fear, and sadness filling her voice. They waited about five minutes, but nothing happen. “There” said Fred, more positively this time. “The curse is finally done wi-“but he was cut off by a large fit of giggles coming from Exotica. ”Exotica” Fred tried to start, but this time he was cut off by a shriek of laughter. Before he could say anything else, she was on the floor, laughing historically (At this point, Fred gave up trying to speak to her). Then, right before his eyes, fluffy, white hair began to grow out of nearly every point in her body.About a minute later, the hair ceased to grow and Exotica stood up, examining her new, white, fuzzy, body. ”C’mon Thred!” cried Exotica, grabbing hold of Fred by his armor’s neck and dragging him along back into the descending room. “There hath to find a way to couther thith curth.””But how will going back down there aid us?” protested Fred. ”We muth ethamin where the curth came from. If we know more about the curth, we mighth be able tho cthure it.” She rushed down the stairs, but Fred stood in his place. “Whath are you waithinth for?” she demanded irritably. ”I don’t think it’ll help us even if we know. “Our best chance is to leave the caves and find a Cleric who can cure this.” That was partly true, but the main reason Fred wouldn’t agree to her idea was because after witnessing what had happened to Exotica, he’d gained a phobia of the room. Fred knew this was completely cowardly and against the morals of his knighthood, but he couldn’t bring himself to enter.What’s really happening is that the dragon has a curse set throughout the whole cave and locations near it. The closer travelers are to the dragon, the stronger the curse’s effect is. Of course, few people have knowledge of this, and Fred is no exception. ”Thath could take dayths!” yelled Exotica. “We haven’th got a clue to where anything is in here! By the thime we founth our way outh, the curth would be complethed and I’d be fox food. Now, geth down here and help me counther this curth!”
